Un viaggio in ambienti desertici, dove le foreste a cui sono abituato lasciano il passo ad aride distese di roccia e sabbia. In qualche ora di aereo, assieme agli amici del team Phoenix-fly, siamo atterrati su “Marte” e abbiamo guidato alla ricerca di salti da effettuare con la tuta alare, un’avventura che ha riempito gli occhi di bellezze incredibili.
It’s been a journey into desert environments, where the forests I used to know were replaced by arid landscapes of rocks and sand. In a short plane ride, my friends of the Phoenix-fly Team and I landed on a place that looked like Mars. We drove around, looking for places to jump with the wingsuit: that adventure filled our eyes with incredible sceneries.

Un mese in giro per questo meraviglioso paese assieme ad Alessandro, compagno di molte scalate. Un’esperienza che ci ha toccati profondamente, viaggiando sempre ospiti di arrampicatori locali, sicuramente le persone più cordiali che abbia mai incontrato. Salutando questi nuovi amici l’augurio era “buena onda”, come a rincorrere l’onda che vale una vita.
I travelled around this wonderful country for a month with Alessandro, the partner of many of my climbs. This experience touched us deeply, because we were always hosted by local climbers, who are for sure the most friendly people I have ever met. Saying goodbye to the new friends , I wished them to “have a good wave”, meaning to chase that wave which is worth a lifetime.

Una delle esperienza più intense mai provate in montagna. Ho salito e sceso tutte e tre le cime arrampicando slegato e saltando con il paracadute da ognuna di esse in 5 ore e 40 minuti. un viaggio nei meandri della mia psiche e delle capacità umane.
That’s one of the most intense experiences I’ve ever enjoyed in the mountains. In 5 hours and 40 minutes, I ascended and descended, jumping from each of them, all the three peaks by unbound and parachute. It’s been a journey into the depths of my psyche and human abilities.

Due mesi in giro per l’Italia con la mia compagna, 8000 km di strada con il nostro van e tantissimi ricordi che rimangono di un viaggio alla scoperta della nostra bellissima penisola. Abbiamo arrampicato, surfato, saltato, fatto highline, ma ci siamo anche rilassati in spiagge deserte e provato tutte le specialità culinarie che trovavamo lungo il tragitto.
With my partner, I passed two months around Italy, on a tour of 8000km made of wonderful experiences and discoverings of our beautiful peninsula. During this trip we climbed, surfed, jumped, highline, but also relaxed on the beach and tasted all the culinary delights we found along the way.

Dove la mente è molto più importante del corpo, dove tutti gli allenamenti e la costante esposizione sviluppata in anni hanno pagato. Riuscire a camminare una slackline tesa tra due mongolfiere è sicuramente una delle esperienze che mi hanno più segnato nel rapporto con me stesso. Il bello di essere sempre alla ricerca è che c’è sempre qualcosa da scoprire, a cominciare da noi stessi.
This is the place where the mind is much more important than the body, where all the workouts and the exposure developed over the years pay off. Being able to walk a slackline stretched between two hot air balloons is certainly one of the experiences that marked me the most in the relationship with myself. The beauty of being always on the lookout is that there is always something to discover, starting from ourselves.

Mescolare l’alta quota con il volo con la tuta alare è stato faticoso quanto appagante, salire cosi tanti metri di dislivello con tutto il materiale necessario per una scalata in alta quota e in aggiunta avere 8 kg di materiale per volare è stata veramente una sfida, una di quelle che vale la pena vivere.
Blending high altitude mountaineering and wingsuit flying has been as hard as rewarding. Climbing many meters high, carrying the things needed for high altitude climb and 8kg of material for flying was really challenging; a challenge worth living for.

Ho avuto la fortuna di essere invitato, assieme ad altri 13 BASEjumper provenienti da tutto il mondo, in Turchia per esplorare nuove zone, aprire nuovi salti e partecipare a uno show nei pressi del fiume Eufrate.
I was lucky enough to be invited, along with 13 other BASEjumpers from all over the world, to go to Turkey to explore new areas, open new jumps and get involved in a show near the Euphrates River.

Una camminata nel vuoto a 3800 metri di altezza, con la montagna più grande delle Alpi davanti a me, e un team d’eccezione con cui condividere questa avventura.
A walk into the void, at 3800 meters high, with the largest mountain in the Alps in front of me and an amazing team to share this adventure with.
